Western Canadian One Health Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference: Inspiring and Aligning Action
Tuesday, January 22 through Thursday, January 24, 2019
DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel & Conference Centre
1975 Broad Street
Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada
“Inspiring and Aligning Action”
Bringing together interested antimicrobial stewards from both human and animal health sectors to exchange ideas and take action. How are antibiotics used in medicine and agriculture today, and what can we do to shape the future? In both plenary and discipline-specific concurrent sessions, speakers throughout this dynamic 2-day conference will share leading edge research and successful approaches. In addition to the presentations, opportunities for interaction will be provided through Q&A, moderated discussions, networking, and a facilitated breakout session based on implementation science. This conference will be of interest to professionals (physicians, veterinarians, pharmacists, nurses, infection control professionals) in active practice, as well as in leadership, academic and policy roles. Students in these disciplines are also welcome. The $125 registration fee includes all presentations, opening reception, banquet, and breakfast and lunch on both days. Space is limited, so please register early.
The Saskatchewan Epidemiology Association helped to host the 2019 Western Canadian One Health Antimicrobial Stewardship Conference.
